Derek reveals his past to Saahna

The Grayswandir leaves Gimisapun and Jumps towards Tlianke, but with a number of passengers who seem to be keeping secrets and a mysterious bio-engineered life-form in the cargo bay.

Derek and Kona spend a final day together. Then, at the pre-launch meeting, he finds that his exploits have attracted attention to him and the crew and that not everyone is happy with the result.

Derek has a gift for Kona

Derek wakes up after a night of celebrating with Kona and almost misses his appointment with the Information Broker "Radish". Saahna brings information on the two mysterious passengers, and seems to be distrustful of Kona.

Derek and Kona return with a successful salvage claim and a lucrative cargo and Kona wants to continue her relationship with Derek, both professionally and personally.

Derek and Kona discover a crashed ship, and a mystery.

Derek goes looking for an Information Broker but instead finds an opportunity that leads him off the asteroid and into deep space

The Grayswandir arrives at Gimisapun

Derek decides to back away from the agreements he has been making, preferring to stay independent as a Free Trader, though some of the crew seem disappointed by the change and others think he has not done enough.
