Derek checks on the status of the Grayswandir and finds that the maintenance is almost complete. Jami is already there, checking out the engines, as is half the cargo. It's time to get ready to leave.

Derek spends a last day with Halley before they head their separate ways

With the ship almost ready, Derek posts for passengers to Fugitak and finds some cargo to trade. And has another night on the town with Halley.

With the ship's crew complete, Derek takes a day to relax, and to make a new friend.

Derek finds an Engineer; a disgraced crew member from another Free Trader caught smuggling. Now the real work begins.

Derek starts searching for an Engineer and gets a visit from a woman who is mysteriously determined to travel with them, either as a crew-member or as a passenger.

Derek meets with the crew and they discuss their next plans. He then names a new first officer and finds the first downside to being the captain.
