Derek helps Shelly and Varan negotiate their differences.
Actually, maybe not having passengers on board makes things too quiet.
With no passengers to take care of Derek looks forward to a quiet week in Jumpspace
The Grayswandir leaves Tlianke and makes its Jump to Girar as the crew discusses how to deal with the "special" cargo they are carrying.
The crew make a contact and pick up a "questionable" cargo for the next planet, but one which may give them the Approved Trader status they were denied at this port
Derek finds that the Grayswandir's involvement with sector politics is affecting their status as a trader. Varan has to choose between Carma and the rest of the crew, and Jami finds a new lead.
At a too-early crew meeting, Derek shows the route they are taking to the central part of the Sector. Later, Saahna expresses concern about the stability of the Hinterworlds and the future of the Imperium.
The Grayswandir arrives at Tlianke, to a less-than-warm welcome. The effects of some of the events they have become involved in are spreading, and are becoming more far-reaching than anyone expected.
With everything back to normal, the crew make initial preparations for landing and Derek reveals his intention to stop carrying passengers.
