23 Salas 1117: Jumpspace
Today was quiet. Too quiet, actually. I guess I had never really thought about how much of our time in Jump was spent taking care of passengers and so suddenly having nothing to really do was surprising.
I did a few walkthrus of the ship, but there wasn’t much to see. Dr. Korvusar was in her usual place, reading as usual. Jami and Saahna were playing some card game, with either Shelly or Varan with them; but never at the same time. The fact that they had time together still bothers me a bit, but I’m more concerned about the long-term effects. If they aren’t getting along by the time we hit Girar, then I’ll have to say something to one or the other of them. Or both.
I tried to suggest hopping back into Inquisitor, but after the warehouse encounter yesterday no one was really in a hurry to go back. I wasn’t particularly looking forward to going back in myself, but there wasn’t much else to do.
I finally just went back to my cabin and looked through my comp until I found a net-vid I hadn’t watched yet. It really wasn’t that great, but at least it was something to do.
